Hippo Valley Collection

Upenyu, from Hippo Valley Christian Mission, has been interning with us over the past few weeks. If you haven’t had a chance to meet him, make sure you do. Hippo Valley Christian Mission seeks to evangelize Zimbabwe reaching the whole person for Christ; the body, mind and soul through healthcare, schools and the Church.

Below are a couple opportunities for our church to partner with HVCM. All donations are due by July 4.

Donations to go to Zimbabwe

It has been great having Upenyu with us for the last few weeks in Jr Worship. The children’s ministry would like to collect some items to send back to Zimbabwe with him for Hippy Valley Christian Mission’s orphanages, churches, and schools. Donations will be collected in The Grove. Last day of collecting will be Sunday, July 4.

New Items:
  • Toothbrushes
  • Girls undergarments (children through teen)
  • Boys undergarments (children through teen)
  • Hard candies
  • Pencils
  • Award stickers
  • Homemade friendship bracelets

Donations to Hippo Valley’s Thrift Store

New and gently used items can be donated to HVCM’s thrift store. Items must be boxed for transport to KY. All proceeds from the thrift store are used to support HVCM’s ministries in Zimbabwe. By supporting the thrift store you are helping HVCM to care for orphans, support dozens of churches/preachers, and run 27 schools in Zimbabwe!

Donations will be collected and stored in room G8. Last day for collection is July 11.
